Nine tenants unveiled for Midtown Promenade redo, BeltLine link

Asana Partners, SRS Real Estate Partners redevelopment will front the Eastside Trail

Pitstop options along the BeltLine in Midtown are set to multiply next year.

That’s the word today from developers Asana Partners and SRS Real Estate Partners, which are teaming to remake the Midtown Promenade shopping center into a refreshed, 111,000-square-foot hub with direct Eastside Trail access.

Nine new eateries and retail tenants were announced for Midtown Promenade, located just south of Piedmont Park and Virginia Avenue. As is, the shopping center faces away from the BeltLine, but work has begun in recent weeks to revise its back entrances with a new breezeway, plaza, stairs, a ramp, and landscaping.

The new signings are described by officials as follows:

  • Colorado-based breakfast and brunch restaurant Snooze will have a menu of favorites like huevos rancheros, breakfast pot pie, omelets, sandwiches, and pancake flights.
  • Alici will be the first Amalfi Coast-inspired seafood restaurant in the area from The Porchetta Group’s Pat Pascarella.
  • Yumbii, a taco food truck turned brick-and-mortar, and sister concept, The Queso Shop, will face the Eastside Trail in adjoining spaces with an expanded patio.
  • Intown Animal Hospital will offer a complete range of veterinary services including routine, major and emergency medical, and dental services along with vaccinations.
  • The Whole Dog Market will specialize in holistic raw, freeze-dried and conventional foods at optimal price points.
  • Les Mains Nail Bar will occupy a 2,500 square-foot space and offer services including manicures, pedicures, hair removal, and massages.
  • Heyday, a one-stop facial shop, will make its Georgia debut in Midtown and offer a personalized experience with skilled skin therapists. Services will include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, and gua sha, an ancient detoxifying massage.
  • Restore Hyper Wellness will offer full-body wellness services including cryotherapy, IV drip therapy, red light therapy, and more.

Renovations to Midtown Promenade are expected to wrap up next fall. Roughly 12,000 square feet of retail and creative office space remains available, as Atlanta Intown reports.

Midtown Promenade is anchored by Trader Joe’s and Landmark Theatres’Midtown Art Cinema. Longtime attractions Richards Variety Store and F.R.O.G.S. Cantina, along with home décor retailer Tuesday Morning and Ah-Ma’s Taiwanese Kitchen, have departed the shopping center.

Two miles south on the BeltLine’s most patronized section, Asana is also moving forward with the multifaceted expansion of Krog Street Market and Atlanta Stove Works into the broader Krog District.

The company is also planning to remake one of Coca-Cola’s first bottling plants into a hub of creative offices in Old Fourth Ward.
