A new buffet restaurant is the first named tenant in a $2 million renovation at a shopping center on Crestwood Boulevard.

King Buffet will occupy 10,000 square feet of the strip mall located at 7845 Crestwood Boulevard. In all, 18,750 square feet are being renovated as a part of the project. Hamilton Huber, of SRS Real Estate Partners, represents Starlite Theater Company, LLC which owns the development. Huber says King Buffet is the first secured tenant and his team is working to fill the remaining vacancies in the renovated portion of the strip mall.

“We are in negotiations with other tenants but do not have signed leases yet,” Huber said.

The owners plan to make additional renovations to a now vacant space in the mall formally occupied by Monarch Direct once they find a long term tenant. The former Kmart box is currently being leased by consignment shop, Kid’s Market & Mom.

There is no projected opening date for King Buffet. Huber says owners are working to secure licenses and outfit the empty space.
