Steve Dawkins

Chief Operating Officer

Steve joined SRS Real Estate Partners in May 2002. As COO, his primary role is to marshal the resources of SRS to the most productive uses with the aim of creating maximum enterprise value for the firm. Steve guides the strategy and growth activity for SRS and ensures effective deployment throughout the company. He leads firm-wide marketing, business development, and research.  Steve also serves as primary liaison for the company’s strategic alliances. Additionally, Steve oversees the company’s Corporate Services line of business, focused on managing all aspects of clients’ real estate portfolios. Steve is a shareholder and serves on the company’s Executive Team and is an advisor to the Board of Members.

Steve has more than 30 years of experience in general management and professional services with an emphasis in real estate, management consulting and outsourcing. From 2002 to 2008, Steve served on the Executive Committee of the The Staubach Company. Since 2006, Steve has focused much of his energy on corporate real estate outsourcing. During this time, he successfully designed and implemented many multi-market, multi-service programs for high-profile retail clients such as Chevron Corporation, FedEx Kinko’s, Blockbuster, American Girl, Tween Brands, Carter’s, JP Morgan Chase, USAA, Verizon Wireless, 24 Hour Fitness, Walgreen’s and others.

Prior to joining SRS, Steve served as President of George Group Consulting, a strategy and operations improvement firm and the company that pioneered Lean Six Sigma. George Group was acquired by Accenture in 2007. Steve also served as an Advisor to 3Circle Partners, a company that specializes in team development and leadership consulting. In his early career, Steve served as Program Manager for the then Air Force Systems Command leading multiple research and development programs for the United States Air Force.

Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the United States Air Force Academy. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Dayton.
